Deanna Andes
Deanna is a true purveyor of style: from her work as a costume designer for film and theatre to her dedication as a fashion stylist. Her personal philosophy and professional inspiration are drawn from a lifelong commitment to fashion, individuality, and the art of storytelling.
Deanna was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Her passion for styling and designing costumes began at a very young age when she started dressing other young classmates for skits and plays. After she graduated from the University of Houston, she was hired and worked as a News Producer for NBC. Many Years later – after her children were in school, Deanna decided to continue her education. She went to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), in Manhattan, where she received her Professional Certificate in Fashion Styling. While going back to the school, she continued to work on professional corporate projects and costume many local Long Island theatre productions.
She has dedicated herself to the craft of costume design for film and theatre along with styling for Commercial shoots. What makes Deanna’s work different is her ability to understand the nuances and textures of various materials in addition to the knowledge and expertise in costume design. Deanna’s work has led to multiple national commercials, films, billboards, and in-house training. Deanna’s work gives her ability to nurture her own passion for fabric, color, and design while instilling a sense of confidence, ownership, and originality in every actor and private client she dresses.
Deanna currently resides in Riverhead, New York. She and her husband have raised four children who are now all young adults who are either in college or working.
